Movie description:

In 1942, eight-year-old Srulik escapes from the Warsaw Ghetto. First he tries to survive in the woods, later Polish farmers take him in as a Christian orphan and slowly Srulik’s Jewish identity begins to slip away. Based on a true story as told in Uri Orlev’s bestseller of the same name and as remembered by Yoram Friedmann.
We’re currently in the development phase with production scheduled for August 2012. Heinrich Hadding wrote the project in collaboration with myself. The clip below features an atmospheric excerpt from our encounter with Yoram Friedman.
